Meet Ethan:
Ethan Nicholas is a lifelong conservative, Cranberry Township resident, and business leader who has proudly called Butler County home his entire life. A husband and father, he believes in faith, family, fiscal discipline, and the responsibility that comes with leadership.
Ethan is running for State Representative to deliver steady, principled conservative leadership to District 12. For more than two decades, he has built and led a regional business organization serving more than 35,000 members across Western Pennsylvania. He has signed the front of paychecks, created jobs, and brought business leaders together to support growth and opportunity across our region.
He believes government should operate with discipline, accountability, and results - with decisions rooted in common sense, not political pressure. Ethan supports responsible growth that protects property values, strengthens infrastructure, and prevents overdevelopment. He will cut unnecessary red tape, defend energy jobs, keep taxes low, and promote a pro-business climate that keeps opportunity in Butler County.
Ethan backs law enforcement and first responders without hesitation. He supports strong public schools, parental rights, and school choice options that empower families. He will fight for property tax relief and believes financial oversight and disciplined budgeting aren’t optional - they’re essential.
“District 12 is already resilient and strong,” Nicholas says. “My goal is to build on that foundation with conservative leadership that protects taxpayers, strengthens families, and ensures responsible growth for the next generation.”
An Eagle Scout and Paul Harris Fellow through Rotary International, Ethan was named a Distinguished Alumnus of Slippery Rock University. He and his wife, Kimberly, live near North Boundary Park with their two children, Annie and Maverick. Their family attends Victory Family Church and remains deeply rooted in the community they love.
Ethan Nicholas isn’t running for a title - he’s running to protect Butler County’s conservative values, strengthen our economy, and lead with discipline and integrity.
